Day School includes Daycare and one-on-one training work with one of our fantastic trainers, tailored to a your dogs needs and your training goals. It is a great way to support the training you are doing at home, and a wonderful source of enrichment for dogs of all ages and needs.

During Day School you will receive report cards daily going over your dog's training. You will receive a video of their training session from throughout the day, including an instructional voiceover from your trainer explaining what they are doing in the video, and pictures of them having fun! . Before beginning Day School we require an evaluation day to make sure that the service is the best fit for your dog.

Full understanding of the methods used, daily practice and consistency are essential to set up your dog for success, allowing us to continue to raise the bar of difficulty in training each time your dog attends Day School.

Day School is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Check out our training page for all of the details on pricing.

The skills taught during Day School are tailored to your dogs needs and your goals for them. Day School is a good fit for puppies, adolescent dogs, and adult dogs who need help learning their basic skills and manners.

Day School sessions are available as an add on to Boarding reservations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for $50/day.

How do I know if my dog is a good fit? :
At Jumping Jack, your dog’s safety, joy, and well-being are our top priorities. As such, all staff is trained in reading and interpreting dog-to-dog behavior and proper play etiquette. Playgroups are supervised and created based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: temperament, age, size, and play style. We want to set your dog up for success and we do our very best to prevent your dog from learning problem behaviors such as excessive barking, fence fighting, fence aggression, and reactivity by creating playgroups that do not have any shared fence lines. This creates a stress-free environment so the dogs can also learn how to relax around other dogs. Dogs are given breaks at regular intervals so that they begin to build an off switch. If you would like your dog to come home with additional manners and mental stimulation, Jumping Jack also provides a day school option so that your dog can receive one-on-one training while you're away.
All daycare dogs receive an extensive behavior evaluation to determine if they are a candidate for group play. We do Daycare Evaluations every of the week. We do require Daycare Evaluations to be performed before boarding for major holidays and peak times. After their initial Evaluation, we offer Daycare 7 days a week. Please note, that we only take 7 "human time only" dogs at a time, due to the extra one on one time spent with staff. Because of this, we do not accept "Human Time Only" dogs for Daycare. However if you need them to come for the day, you can request a Dayschool reservation. For more information about Dayschool, see below.
  1. Must be spayed/neutered if they are engaging in group play.
  2. Must pass appropriate play behavior evaluations with Jumping Jack Staff dogs before playing with others.
  3. No toys are allowed in play yards to prevent resource guarding.
  4. Absolutely no prong, shock, or chain collars allowed. Cloth or leather collars only.
  5. Playgroups cannot exceed 7 dogs per group unless there is a large hike to the pool.
  6. If your dog is involved in an altercation deemed to be their fault, they are moved to the "human time only" plan for the remainder of the day.
  7. Any additional altercations on future stays will result in them staying on the "human time only" path permanently. This doesn't mean your dog is aggressive, it just means they do best with people time only in this particular environment.
  8. Jumping Jack staff must supervise playgroups 100% of the time.
  9. Every group play dog gets the chance to have pool time.
  10. Must be current on vaccinations or vaccination titers (See vaccination policy here
  11. Must not show overt human aggression/ biting or growling towards staff. If they have this issue we can still accommodate but we will need to add a training package.
