Evaluation Day

Vector_Evaluation Day Banner.png

To ensure a safe and happy experience, every new dog must complete a thorough behavioral evaluation before attending boarding or daycare. We assess how they interact with other dogs during supervised group play to confirm they’re a good fit for our social environment. Additionally, we observe their behavior in their suite to make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed, allowing us to tailor their stay to meet their individual needs.

What does an Evaluation Day entail?

Drop off between 6:30-10:00 am–arrival time is flexible!

Please set aside 10 minutes to discuss your paperwork with our staff and to get a facility tour.

Pickup between 4:00- 7:30 pm, whatever works best for you.

Upon arrival, your dog will have some time to explore and sniff around in a private yard before settling into their suite to relax until their evaluation begins.

They will be tested with male and female dogs from our working dog line. CLICK HERE TO MEET OUR WORKING DOGS

We’ll observe them in our swimming pool and around various boarding areas to identify the environment where they are most comfortable.

You will receive a report card with a video of how their first day went, as well as photos of them with their friends. Daily report cards are sent out between 2:30-3:30 pm.

Please watch the video in your dog's report card prior to pickup so we can answer any questions you may have!
